1 year has passed

since i started this journey. I was hoping to have reached my goal weight by now, but that didn't happen....  But i'm still proud of what i've achieved so far. To date, i've lost 37 pounds. I had reached the 40 pound mark around Chrsitmas and then i lost my motivation.

I'm starting a fresh, will reset my graph etc. Here's to fighting off the last 15-20 pounds. Thanks for all the support gals.

 

I've not given up again

just busy doing other things so i can't blog daily.

I managed NOT to eat/drink meat, fish, eggs, and dairy for 5 days during my detox. But idid eat lots of legumes, seeds and nuts in order to have enough protein.

Have to go, hubby just called and is picking us up to go shopping. Will blog again soon. Hope you're all doing good.

 

Day 3

I'm on the 3rd day of my detox. I've just been eating raw foods....fruits,veggies,raw oats,seeds and drinking tea & water. It's not as tough as last time and i feel pretty good. I really want to go atleast one week without dairy, meat, fish and eggs. As from tomorrow, i'll introduce cooked foods again. I've not started working out again though.... but i do take the stairs (our appartment is on the 5th floor) atleast 4 times a day and walk the kids to & from school.

I'm busy de-cluttering and preplanning for the big move in July, i want to start as early as possible otherwise, i'll probably lose my mind then.

I'm back

After a month offline, i finally got a brand new computer. Very glad that the insurance paid 70%.

The last few weeks haven't been so great.......little to no exercise and lots of bad eating.... I paid for it by gaining a few pounds. I'm really dissappointed by myself for losing ALL the motivation i had before. I should have been at my goal weight by now if i had stayed serious......

Anyway, i had better stop whining and get started again. I started today with a raw food detox.

Day 1: Fruits &  raw veggies, herbal/green teas and lots of water.

I'm still struggling with my workouts but foodwise i'm back on track. Current weight: 147.73lbs.

I'll be offline for sometime, coz my pc is going to be repaired/replaced.

What's the price?

Setting your alarm for 6 a.m.       Nothing big, millions of ppl do it every evening.

Setting your alarm for 6 a.m. and when it goes off, hitting snooze countless times and finally end up, waking up an hour later   

Nothing big, also happens alot.

Setting my alarm for 6 a.m, NOT hitting the snooze button, waking up, dressing, drinking a glass of water and working out--------------

Mini-goal

I'm setting myself a mini-goal to lose 4 lbs by march 1st-----that's in 13 days almost, 2 weeks....should be possible. Wish me luck.

Current weight: 147.73 lbs (67kgs).

Today's workout: WATP (50 mins)....to be done later.

On my way

I'm on my way back to gaining control again. Eating is pretty good, but the exercising NOT yet.

Weight: 149.94 lbs.....happy to be under 150 again.

ETA: yeah, i did a 50 minute workout today.

........DAMN......this has to stop.......after struggling for 7 months and managing to get rid of 41 pounds, and getting sooo close to my goal weight....what do i do......i'm on my way to gaining it all back....yes..... BIG shame. This has to stop NOW. No excuses anymore!!!!

ETA: i just went over to Rhonda's blog to report for the challenge and i realised that i GAINED 5 lbs in the last week....OMG.....

I'm still on antibiotics for a throat & ear infection....maybe i should put the blame on them......

I'm back....finally

after taking my sweet time to get back on track, a birthday and a week of flu ....... I weighed in at 146.85 lbs this a.m. I've decided to join Rhonda's new challenge....check out her blog on my friend's list (I've got to move it, move it), if interested.
